HOW MANY AXES IS HUMAN LIFE BASED ON ?

A baby is borne with more than 300 bones along with cartilage - and is as a toddler clearly more pliable than a full-grown person, because one third of his bones are yet to grow together.

After maturing, a full grown adult has 206 bones - almost half of which in his hands and feet And:
Not all the joints between the bones are moveable.
Examples for this are found in the skull and the pelvis.

The true joints allow different kinds of movement, - depending on the type of joint:

  • Hinge joints,
allow only the movement around one axis (e.g., elbow and knee).

  • Plug or radian joints,
with these a ring rotates around a plug (head). They form a special kind of the hinge joint.

  • Level joints,
allow a limited measure of movement in all directions (e.g., wrist and tarsus).

  • Elliptical joints,
its elliptical form permits the movement around two axes (e.g., rear wrist joint).

  • Saddle joints,
its arched joint surface permits the movement around two axes (thumb)

  • Ball joints,
they allow the biggest possibility of movement (e.g., the shoulder joint or the hip joint).

Therefore scientists argue and can not agree how many true axes human life is based on.

The Multi Axes Controller works with an algorithm which can compute theoretically an infinite number of axes - but that would take an infinite amount of time !
The
CNC-& Robo-mac offered here control up to 8 axes. If you need more, please let us know.
